Breathe Deep Within is a 1-hour healing practice that combines meditation, conscious breathing, and sound therapy to teach easy-to-follow mindfulness techniques that calm the mind, relax the body, and awaken the spirit.
Tranquil sounds of singing bowls, guided meditation, and the soothing sound of one's breath, allow a genuine experience of having a deep connection within.
Our mission is to provide high-quality meditation sessions that help individuals achieve inner peace and balance in their lives. We believe that everyone deserves access to the transformative power of meditation, and we are committed to making it easy and enjoyable for anyone to practice.
Each class offers an invitation to embark on a contemplative journey that can bring steadiness to your mind, openness to your heart, and a fresh perspective on life with clarity. These mindfulness techniques can be used anytime, anywhere, whether you are alone or in a group.
Breathe awareness is self awareness. How often do you notice your breathing pattern? Breathing is an automatic function of the body. It is controlled by the respiratory center of the brain. Your breathing pattern changes whether you are awake or sleep.
The changes can be subtle or obvious. When we inhale slowly and deeply, it calms our nervous system. When we are stressed, our breathing pattern changes as a part of the flight or fright response.
Through inhalation and exhalation, the primary role of breathing is to absorb oxygen and expel carbon dioxide.
Although breathing is involuntary, we can also control our breath by the simple practice of pranayama which means breath control. Ancient practice and medical studies have shown that controlled breathing is greatly beneficial for relaxation and stress management.
Breathe Deep Within teaches concious breathing with guided meditation to help deepen your practice and have a better relationship with your breath. Simply find peace of mind for good health, and wholeness in a chaotic world. Your breath reflects your current state of well-being. It indicates how you are functioning day-to-day physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Breath is the essence of balance.
Go from shallow breathing, known as fright, flight, freeze, and collapse, to deep conscious breathing that have healing restorative properties. Proper breathing increases oxygen in the blood and body vital for optimal health.
Meditation bridges the body and mind to bring you into the present moment. To harmonize your system that will enable you to remain calm in a fast pace world.

Blessings. My name is LaDonna Funderburke, Certified Meditation and Wellness Workshop Facilitator, Cultural Healer, and Owner of Breathe Deep Within. Meditation, visualization, and breathwork have been my daily practice for over 20 years.

As an artist, I find great joy in working with children. I teach them how to practice meditation as a means to relax and unleash their creative instincts. My aim is to help them enjoy the process of creating art and to embrace their natural artistic expression.
My mission is to bring alternative healthcare and wellness to more diverse and underserved communities, particularly BIPOC (black, indigenous, and people of color) communities that are in need of deep inner healing, recovery, and peace. Our focus is to create harmonious and healthy communities with a unified purpose of achieving a vibrant life. All individuals, regardless of their background, are welcome, supported, and valued at Breathe Deep Within.
