Your breath reflects your current state of well-being, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Breath is the essence of balance. Meditation allows the body and mind to find it's own way to self-discovery and healing.
Go from shallow breathing, known as fright, flight or freeze, to deep conscious breathing, which has healing restorative properties. Conscious breathing increases oxygen in the blood and body vital for optimal health.

Blessings. I am LaDonna Funderburke, meditation and wellness workshop facilitator and owner of Breathe Deep Within. Meditation, visualization, and breathwork has been my daily practice for over 20 years.
My discipline allows me to share my love for healing and self-development in professional settings. Working with non-profit organizations, in classroom settings, and with women's groups, I teach participants simple and easy-to-follow relaxation techniques for personal growth and inner peace.
My holistic approach creates a warm environment that opens a space for participants to feel comfortable meditating, which allows them to let go and be in the present moment. As an artist, I love working with children to encourage them to relax, create art, and tap into their artistic expression with joy.
Breathe Deep Within started in 2018 to bring mindfulness to diverse communities, for people of all cultures to have easy access to wellness and feel comfortable healing in a supportive and loving environment.

I find the focused breathing exercises most helpful. Breath holding has been a personal challenge for me so having several specific exercises that I utilize daily has been life altering.

Since my first class I've made it a priority to make time for this meditation session as it's a better way to unwind from my busy week and go into my weekend. LaDonna starts by facilitating several breathing activities and then moves the class into guided meditation. Each time I've attended she changes up the activities so that it's not the same thing each week. Additionally, she models and allows for questions. While meditation is a sacred practice and should be treated as such when something is funny we can all laugh and get back on track.
